Form One to Four Admissions for 2022/23 Academic Year

Admission to F.2 – F.5 are now open for application.
Applicants are required to complete the Online Application Form.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written assessment through email. To ensure that emails from our Admission Team reaches you, you are advised to add "hysadmission3@hys.edu.hk" to your "contacts".
Offers will only be given to applicants who passes both the written assessment and admission interview.
Written Assessment: English, Chinese and Mathematics
(F.4 and F.5 applicants wishing to study Chemistry, Biology or Physics will be assessed separately in the relevant subject(s))
Admission Interview: Applicants having attained a satisfactory result in the written assessment will be invited to the admission interview together with their parents.
Interview Topics: Any relevant topic which may include school life, learning experience, co-curricular activities, personal interests, etc.
Interview Language:  English and Cantonese
Admission Criteria: Interview Performance (30%); Academic Performance (30%); Co-curricular Activities & Awards (20%); Conduct / Attitude (20%).
 

School Fees

The School is a Direct Subsidy Scheme School. The current school fees for 2022-2023 are as follows:
F1: $37,810 F2: $37,810 F3: $37,810
F4: $37,810 F5: $37,810 F6: $36,770
Note:
  1. School fee payable in each succeeding year will be no less than the school fee paid in the current year. For example, students studying in Forms 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 now will be paying no less than $37,800 in school fees when promoted to Forms 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, respectively (subject to the EDB's approval).
  2. School fee payable for each successive form will be no less than the school fee paid in the current year for that form. For example, a current Form 5 student who will be promoted to Form 6 in 2023-2024 will be paying no less than $37,800 in school fees (subject to the EDB's approval).
  3. Depending on the school’s development and financial situation, we may submit further fee revision applications to the EDB in the future.

Fee Remission Scheme

Qualified students will not be denied admission to Heep Yunn School due to financial reasons. The School has an extensive fee remission scheme for students with financial concerns, which includes fee remission in full (100%), three-quarters (75%), half (50%), and one-quarter (25%) of the school fee. Needy students, including those from families receiving the CSSA and students receiving financial assistance provided by the SFO, may apply for fee remission through their parents or legal guardians. Admission to F.1 – F.4 are now open for application

  1. Application Period: From now until 2nd December, 2022 (Friday)
  2. Applicants are required to complete the Online Application Form.


Written Assessment

Date: Morning of 10th December, 2022 (Saturday)

Only selected applicants will be invited to attend the written assessment. Notifications to attend the written assessment will be emailed to applicants no later than 7th December, 2022.

On the day of the written assessment, the applicant should hand in the following:

  1. The application form (please print out the completed online application form)
  2. Birth Certificate (copy)
  3. Academic reports of the previous three years (copy)
  4. Certificates for other academic achievements or co-curricular activities (copy)

Areas of assessment: English, Chinese and Mathematics


Admission Interview

Date: Applicants having attained satisfactory results in the written assessment will be invited for interview together with their parents. The interview will be held in Mid-December 2022 (tentative).

Interview Topics: Any relevant topic which may include school life, learning experience, co-curricular activities, personal interests, etc.

Interview Language: English, Cantonese or Putonghua (if applicable / required)

 

Other Written Assessments
Form four admission applicants wishing to study Chemistry, Biology or Physics will be assessed separately in the relevant subject(s) after the interview.

Results
Successful applicants will commence school on 3rd January, 2023 after passing both the written assessment(s) and the admission interview.

Step 1
Setting up an account on our platform:
  1. Login: your email address
  2. Password: your choice
  3. Other information: Applicant’s full name, as appears on her identification documents (e.g. HKID card)
Step 2
Online completion of application form
  1. Personal information of the applicant. A copy of the applicant’s identification document (e.g. HKID card) and a student photo (file size: each under 6MB) will have to be uploaded.
  2. Family information
  3. Contact details
  4. Academic Performance
  5. Extra-curricular activities and community service / in-school service
  6. Awards and achievements
  7. Declaration
Note: Applicants are free to update the information anytime during the application period BEFORE CONFIRMING the online application information. Once confirmed, the information cannot be changed.
Step 3
  1. Confirmation of the completed online application form (Press CONFIRM)
  2. Submission of the completed online application form (Press SUBMIT)
Note: Applicants will receive a confirmation email and attachment after submitting the application form. The attachment will contain the PDF format of the completed application form.

Step 4
  1. Download the completed application form in PDF format. An application number will be automatically generated and printed on the PDF document.
  2. Print out the confirmation email and application form.
Step 5 (Applicable to shortlisted applicants only)
When attending the Written Assessment, applicants should present the following:
  1. The completed application form with the automatically generated application number 
  2. Birth Certificate (copy)
  3. Academic reports of the previous three years (copy)
  4. Certificates of other academic achievements and co-curricular activities (copy)


Note to Applicants

  1. Applicants do not have to mail the supporting documents to the school.
  2. To ensure complete fairness and objectivity in the admission procedures, applicants and their parents are reminded not to offer any advantages to school staff in connection with their applications.
  3. All personal data collected will be used for this application procedure only.
  4. Applicants’ information will be kept for two years. All submitted documents in the application process will be disposed of by the end of the 2023-24 academic year.
